Playwriting Australia is proud to support twelve playwrights of Asian-Australian backrgounds through our Lotus First Draft program in 2015-2016.

Playwriting Australia is now seeking applications from aspiring Asian-Australian writers based in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to be considered for the next stage of the program, Lotus First Draft.

With support from the Girgensohn Foundation, the Lotus Asian-Australian Playwriting program is set to extend to 2018.

Join us this June in Melbourne for a showcase of new plays by Lotus emerging playwrights Hiroki Kobayashi, Lian Low, Jeremy Nguyen and Hoa Pham.
