Applications are now open for the third and final National Script Workshop for 2012
Playwrights are invited to submit a new play in the early stages of development for a two-week intensive workshop with a creative team and cast.
Runs: 8 – 19 October 2012
Submissions close: Friday 27 July 2012
In order to guarantee access for playwrights at all levels of experience, the process of selection for the October session of the National Script Workshop will take into account the playwright’s previous professional production credits. One of the two spots at the workshop will be reserved for a playwright with one or no production credits.
Professional productions are those featuring paid actors and presented to a paying audience including members of the general public; staged readings viagraoverthecounter may constitute a professional production if presented as part of a public programme.
Please note that this will be the final opportunity to submit a script for the National Script Workshop in 2012. Remember you can also submit to PostScript all year round to be considered for the 2013 National Play Festival.
